Clara Stites lives near the ocean in Southeastern Masschusetts. She is the author of numerous short stories and essays as well as several children's books, and was co-editor of In the Shadow of the Giant: Thomas Wolfe. Her current project is a collection of short fiction, as yet unpublished.
